01Ways to work with us

Three ways in. All of them start with the same free diagnosis.

Price is on the page because you are going to ask anyway. Which one is yours is the part worth reading.

02The three models

What each one is, and where each one stops.

Most people are somewhere between two of these. The last line of each card is usually the one that decides it.

Project
Fixed scope, fixed date

A brand, a build, or both. You get a written diagnosis, a scope you can hold us to, and a launch date before we start.

For you if

You have one thing that needs to be right, and a date it needs to be right by.

You get
  • A written diagnosis before any proposal
  • A scope you can hold us to, priced before it starts
  • A launch date agreed before week one
  • The files and the documentation at handover, owned by you
4–10 weeks
From mid five figures
Not this if

Copy pending. One sentence naming what Project does not cover — the thing clients most often assume is included and is not.

Embedded
We sit inside your team

Shipping alongside your people for a quarter, in your stand-ups rather than behind a portal.

For you if

You already have a team, and what you need is capacity inside it rather than a supplier beside it.

You get
  • Copy pending — how many of us, and in which roles. Blocked on the studio headcount, still marked TBC on the about page.
  • Your tools, your stand-ups, your backlog
  • The same people for the whole quarter
  • Everything documented as it is built, so it survives us leaving

Copy pending. One sentence naming what Embedded does not cover — most usefully, what it means that we are not the ones setting the priorities.

03How it runs

Whichever one you pick, this part does not change.

  1. 01. Discovery call

The free diagnosis. Thirty minutes on what is actually broken — no deck, and no proposal until we understand the problem well enough to price it. You leave knowing whether this is something we can fix.

  2. 02. Priced proposal

The scope and the price, written down, before anything starts. After that nothing moves unless it is logged, priced if it needs pricing, and approved. It makes week one slower and it is why no invoice has surprised a client.

  3. 03. Documented build

Made by the people who scoped it, and nothing subcontracted out. You see it as it is built rather than at the end, and every change to the scope is on the record.

  4. 04. Handover, and out

The site, the files and the documentation, and you own all of it. There is no retainer folded into the price to keep you dependent on us. Want us later and we bill the hours.

The model that fits

Project

One scope, one date, one price agreed before anything starts. A deadline is the thing a retainer is worst at and a fixed project is built for.

  • A launch date agreed before week one
  • Scope you can hold us to, priced up front
  • Files, documentation and ownership at handover

Retainer

A site that stopped being worked on is not a build problem, it is an ownership problem. This is the model that gives the compounding work a name against it.

  • Search, AI visibility and maintenance on one rhythm
  • A named owner rather than a rotating queue
  • A feedback and renewal contract at month six

You do not need a supplier beside the team, you need hands inside it. We work in your stand-ups, on your backlog, at your cadence.

The free diagnosis

This is the most common answer, and it is the reason the first call costs nothing. Thirty minutes on what is actually happening, and we will tell you which of the three it is — on the call, not in a proposal.

  • Thirty minutes, no deck
  • The person who would actually run it
  • A straight answer, including no

05The money questions

Only if you approve it. Nothing moves unless it is logged, priced if it needs pricing, and signed off. It makes week one slower, and it is why no invoice has surprised a client.

You do. The site, the files and the documentation, on every one of the three models. There is no version of this where leaving us means starting again.

A feedback and renewal contract is shared. The minimum is six months so the compounding work has time to compound — not so that month seven happens by default.

No. It is made by the people who scoped it, and the names you meet before you sign are the names on the work.

That is what the free diagnosis is for, and it is the most common way this starts. Working out which of the three you need is the first thing the call does.
